We got more than we expected for the price, with great value for our budget. The room had a unique design and was clean. The location right in front of the beach was amazing and it was such a joy to wake up and have the beach just a few steps away. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Hotel breakfast could be improved with more variety.

I had a wonderful experience at a charming bungalow directly on the beach. the location was perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the fisherman's village. It was a short 20-minute walk along the beach, which was absolutely beautiful. the staff at the bungalow were incredibly friendly and made my stay even more enjoyable. the atmosphere was great, with mostly German and French guests. the food was delicious, especially the yummy pizza made by the French owner. I had a fantastic time at Cactus Bungalow. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect! 🌟.

We had a fantastic stay at Cactus Bungalows. We initially booked for 5 nights as we were not sure what to expect, but after our first day we decided to spend the entire 2 and a half weeks at the bungalows. As avid users of Booked.net we liked the reviews of the staff and french owner Jeff, and we were not disappointed. We were well looked after but at the same time given the peace and quiet we wanted to relax. The food was excellent and the beer was perfect, icy cold and refreshing and given to you in stubby cooler. While my wife and I loved the Thai food, we had never eaten a pizza as good as we did at Cactus as made by Jeff. In our 2.5 week stay we ate the most pizzas he had ever seen anyone eat, so we broke the pizza eating record, one which I dare someone to beat, not likely. The atmosphere ate Cactus was very relaxing, really nice cruise/beats music(no chart crap) and in a really nice setting on the beach. The rooms were also fantastic and large with our own toilet and bathroom and of course ac, there are rooms with fans but for that extra comfort I would go the ac, rooms also had tv. Cactus is not only great for young couples like us but also for families, the whole of Bo Phut beach really has the family feel, and is not the party town like Che Wang, so we really relaxed with no late nigh music keeping us awake. I would suggest for those that for an enjoyable relaxing holiday with great food and living comfort you cant go past Cactus Bungalows. Honestly why stay at places like ibis hotel and peace resort where you pay excessive amount of money to stay jammed in with people in the concrete jungles. We had a great time and now are trying to send our parents over. Enjoy Cactus Bungalows and make sure you get Jeff to make you the best pizza you will ever have and of course down it with an ice cold Singha beer.
We liked everything about our stay!

I really enjoyed Cactus, i ended up stayin 3 sxtra nights. Superb location. Great atmosphere about the place with good music and great staff. All the bungalows are 30 seconds walk from the most beautiful beach, with a massage sala right there. The best food I had during my trip in Asia, especially the Pizzas!! You wouldn't expect it in Thailand, but this was the best Pizza I've evr had. Great beach for swimming with exceptional views. I'll definitely be coming back.

The room was spacious and had a great view of the water. It was just a few steps away from the beach, making it convenient to relax and take a swim. the restaurant served delicious food and the drinks were strong. the ambiance of the hotel was lovely, with plumeria trees and beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset.
Finding the entrance to the hotel was a bit difficult and the surrounding area seemed a bit shabby. There were construction works nearby, which caused some disturbance.
